I had a fantastic time here, as it was just a short stroll to the stunning Hyde Park and the fascinating Natural History Museum, making my weekend full of delightful walks and rich experiences.

The hotel boasts a fantastic location near the Gloucester Road tube station, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. The room was small but clean, though the shower pressure could use improvement. Breakfast had a great selection, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, enhancing the overall experience.

The Holiday Inn provided a seamless check-in experience, allowing early access to my well-maintained and comfortable Double Room. The staff was exceptionally helpful, efficiently assisting with my business needs, including preparing presentation materials without delay. Breakfast featured a diverse selection, including freshly baked pastries, which catered to various dietary preferences.

The room size was a bit limited, especially with the sofa bed.

It was a perfect match for a fleeting pause in London with best value. The concierge team was excellent and very helpful. Always check if your room has been cleaned properly.

Oh mate, let’s talk about the breakfast spread! The assorted fruits were a proper treat, and the dining facilities were on point—big up for the buffet! Plus, the bar/lounge area was a cracking spot to chill after a busy day in the city.

Now, don’t get me wrong, the shower was a bit of head-scratcher at first, but we figured it out eventually. Just a cheeky little hiccup in an otherwise fab stay.

Ideal for a functional stay

The breakfast was surprisingly good and the staff were polite and helpful during my entire stay which was refreshing in a place like this. I also appreciated having a kettle and a fridge in the room which made it feel a bit more like home when you were away.

You pay a decent hefty sum but I guess it’s what’s expected for the area.

Proximity to Gloucester Road tube station makes hopping around Central London a breeze. Each floor has complimentary newspapers, and the shower curtain design smartly avoids water mess.

Although my room was clean, the corridors had that worn-out look with old carpets and faded wallpaper. The breakfast hot dishes were comically small, leading to long lines for basic items, and the car park often lacked taxis, potentially turning into a hassle for morning travelers. the outdated wardrobe provided barely any space for clothes—if you planned on unpacking, good luck squeezing in your gear. Lastly, it lacked convenient bedside power outlets, which can be annoying when your devices are out of juice.

Would recommend for resting at all

Comfortable room, excellent service, with a clean toilet that made our stay enjoyable, while being only a 5-minute walk from Gloucester Road station for easy city exploration.
